Welcome to home of the lightest Supras!  This resource is available to all Supra owners, although you know that you targa guys are at a distinct disadvantage here!  All weights must be scale proven and verified as reputable.  I realize that scale printouts are not that common, so your honesty is appreciated.  I will not post all weights, but will probably work my way up to the Top 25 or whatever seems reasonable.

Baseline weight of a MKIV Supra TT hardtop

I went and weighed my bone stock 1994 hardtop TT prior to performing any weight reduction.  Here are the numbers I obtained (6/20/04):

3620 scale weight (including myself on board)

I was then able to extrapolate the following weights based on known quantities:

Weight of self = 176 pounds, weighed right after returning home (- 176 pounds)
Weight of TRD front strut tower bar = 9 pounds (- 9 pounds)
Weight of spare tire = 38.5 pounds (+ 38.5 pounds)

Test car was a bone stock 1994 Supra TT hardtop with the following test notes:

Full tank of gas (obtained prior to weigh-in, 4 miles on car at time of weighing, but no full throttle runs prior to weighing, just normal driving).  My Supra also had power cloth drivers seat, manual cloth passenger seat, and leather rear seat.

Baseline curb weight of a MKIV Supra TT hardtop (wet):  3473.50 pounds
